To celebrate the DIY in all of us, the Desire Path Variety Show brings together a hodgepodge of pop-up performances, installations, sound mixes, and artists for an evening of spontaneous interpretations of the notion of desire paths and paving your own way.

Free Shuttle bus from the G line Greenpoint Avenue Stop. Beverages will be served.

SOUND BATH

The evening begins with a Laughter Science workshop with Indy Rishi Singh as he shares tools and exercises to help improve your mental and physical wellbeing. He has trained with the world's top doctors, yogis, researchers, and life hackers.
The second half of the experience is a Sound bath lead by Siddhartha Mehta. A seasoned musician and artist, his acumen of Indian classical music and Western acoustic music is unique and powerful. The Sound Bath is a chance to relax and experience music and sound in a therapeutic capacity. Bonus: Using Active Body Listening techniques, Siw Laurent will offer Tuned Song as part of the sound bath.

ITINERANT

The opening of ITINERANT 2018 will take place May 18 @ Last Frontier NYC in Greenpoint.
This annual performance art festival will present an inclusive programming at various organizations in the five boroughs in New York City:
May 19 @ Queens Museum
May 20 @ Staten Island Arts
May 22 @ Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance
May 23 @ Smack Mellon
May 25 @ Knockdown Center
In addition, the festival will feature the exhibition Grounded on May 17 @ artist-run EOArts;
the symposium Bodies That Matter
@ La Guardia Community College, LIC,
and public Interventions at the historical
Flushing Meadows Park, Queens.
